SPRING FLING PART 6

FINALLY …

This is the final piece of our M&M Spring Fling Challenge.

How did you do?

Did you stick with us?

Did you sew a few 4-patches and some HST’s?

Did you make a dent in your stash?

Did you "Spring Clean" your sewing area?

Regardless of how you got here it's now time to put those blocks together!

It’s best to lay out the parts and check your fabric placement. If you went scrappy, this ensures that same fabrics aren’t touching.

If you like the whole willy-nilly scrappy look, then just go for it!

Each block needs: one large 16-patch center, four 4-patch units for the corners,  2 LEFT units for the top/bottom and 2 RIGHT units for the sides.

Once all the blocks are stitched together, it’s time to lay out the quilt top.

Play around with your blocks when laying them out. The sample is only 9 blocks. If you made more than that, your layout will look a bit different.
